A 'Common' Cause

Miranda On Sunday the 12th of July, Miranda will be taking part in Cancer Research UK’s nationwide fundraiser, Race For Life.

The team dubbed Winchester House Girls, after the name of the companies’ headquarters in Kings Worthy, will see 5 girls from 2 companies don their running shoes to join around 12,000 other participants, running 5K around Southampton Common in Hampshire.

The girls decided to enter Race For Life with the hope of raising as much as possible towards beating cancer, which has affected the friends and families of several employees.

Friends, family, and co-workers have all sponsored the team, with a total raised so far of just over £650. Race for Life and Cancer Research UK logos
